Sitting in the hospital with my daughter this summer, who was receiving a transfusion, I was struck that someone took the time to give of themselves, so that some unknown person, who was in need later, would receive help that they needed. Please consider giving of your time and your blood to help someone else somewhere. The One Blood app allowed us to write a thank you note to the donor (anonymously) and send it to them to encourage them to keep on going.

Would you give the gift of life?  We are obviously committed as a church to give the gift of eternal life by introducing people to Jesus, but also, physically, we can help to give the gift of life to others, by donating blood. On October 27, from 10am-3pm, Bay West Church will be sponsoring a Blood Drive to encourage people to donate blood to help others. All the churches that meet at 100 Emerson Drive NW will be participating, and we would like to invite anyone that would be willing to give blood to help others.
