Current Sermon Series – GR8

Week 1 - CHANGING THE METRIC - What is the metric that you use to measure your success?  A new one comes from new life with Jesus.
Week 2 - MIND YOUR SURROUNDINGS - We look at how God helps us to navigate our surroundings and how our mindset mixes with our surroundings to move us from moment to moment.
Week 3 - WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE CHILDREN OF GOD? - We talk about being children of God and it's made it's way into our culture, but what does it mean from the source?  What does God mean by that?
Week 4 - HOPE IN OUR SUFFERINGS - We all run into times where suffering comes.  Suffering is part of our broken world, so what does it mean?  Why are they here?  Do they mean Jesus doesn't love us?  How can we have hope in them?
Week 5 - HOPE IN OUR WEAKNESS -  Strength is a must for living in this world, but we often end up feeling and dealing with our weaknesses, as we struggle.  Is there hope to be had?
Week 6 - HOPE IN OUR CIRCUMSTANCES -  Sometimes, our circumstances seem so dire and bleak and without resolution.  When something hard seems like it will never change, when it hurts, how do we find hope?
Week 7 - GOD IS FOR US -  "God must hate me" is a thought that everyone has had at one time or another.  We've done something that we know isn't in His will or we're struggling in our hardship, so we can be prone to think "That's it.  He's got to hate me now."  Is that true?  No.
Week 7 - MORE....THAN CONQUERORS -  We all want to be winners that conquer the challenges of life, but God is not satisfied with that designation.  So many times, where we desire good, God desires best and He forces us to let go of the good, so that we can make room in our hands for His best.
