Glad “Hatter” Ladies’ Tea Party: Telling Your Story for His Glory

Have you ever wanted to attend a ladies’ tea party wearing one of those wild, colorful headpieces, or an elegant, lacy hat? You can make or decorate your own or purchase what you’d prefer to wear, from a fancy Kentucky Derby hat that women wear to horse races, to a simple fascinator hat or ornate headband (you can even glue on a tea cup if you’d like!). You can be as elaborate or feathery or flowery or colorful as you wish. Prizes will be awarded for the largest, smallest, most creative, and overall best hat of the day.

We will also have a short program where you can listen to one of the many stories of the things the Lord has revealed to other Christian women through recent, real life experiences. The Bay West Women’s ministry will be teaching you some skills so that you too will feel more confident in telling your story while ministering to or discipling others. We will be taking our cue from Jesus’ parable telling, and you will leave this fun-filled event with skills that enable you to be a better disciple! This part of the event will be a great encouragement to all who listen or share! Come hear how God is doing wonderful things in the abundant lives of His followers, and be emboldened and cheered about what He can do with you as well!

If you have a teacup and saucer you love and would like to show off, or just feel fancy drinking from, you’re more than welcome to bring it with you! (Just make sure you transport it safely and carefully!). The Bay West Women’s ministry will be providing various teas and finger foods, so you won’t need to bring anything but your hat and a friend!

This event is FREE! Pick up a ticket from the Help Table at no charge. So bring your besties, bring a coworker, bring your mom and sister and aunt and any ladies who’ve ever wanted to drink tea and play dress up as grownups on Saturday, May 12 from 2-4 pm at The Mission (100 Emerson Dr NW Palm Bay)! This will be a delightful, silly, uplifting afternoon to remember!
