The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.
Proverbs 22:9

Delivering Hope is a partnership within our city to provide MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) to help our homeless people in Palm Bay.  It's more about developing trust by supplying hope to help them get out of their situation.  Volunteers will deliver MREs to homeless camps during the week.

Getting involved

The time commitment is as much or as little as you have, and many hands make light work.  Early estimations are that you can load up and drop off in about 30-45 minutes at a camp.  All camp locations are supplied.

About Delivering Hope

Palm Bay has more homeless people than any other city in Brevard and ignoring the problem won't help it....but joining with others to combat the problem might.

After meeting Thomas Rebman, volunteer liason for homelessness to the city of Palm Bay, Pastor Jim and he met together and Rebman asked Bay West Church to be the point organization in a meal delivery system to reach the homeless in the 20+ homeless camps in Palm Bay.  Thomas, through his contacts, has secured a supplier  called Delivering Hope.

Delivering Hope is in it's infant stages, as there is no other program of its kind that Thomas knows of.
